Mario Fuentes is an Ecuadorian Poster Artist born in Ibarra city. His work has been awarded with the Gold Award in the TIGDA 2015 (Taiwan International Graphic Design Award) Category A. Taipei, China, Bronze Prize in the 10th International Poster Triennial in Toyama, Bronze Award in the AGDIE 2014 (Asian Graphic Design Invitation Exhibition) South Korea, 1st Prize in the Occupational Safety Poster Competition, 23rd Edition “Computer World”. 2014 CIOP-PIB in Warsaw, Poland, Honorable Mention in the 12th BICM (International Poster Biennial in Mexico) and among the best 10 posters of Poster for Tomorrow project 2011, forming part of the permanent collections of prestigious museums of design. Also he has been selected in biennials and triennials of Poster in countries such as: Poland, Belgium, Japan, China, Finland, Mexico, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain and Bolivia.
