Özgür Aktaş was born in Adana, Turkey. He studied graphic design at Cukurova University, Faculty of Education, Fine Arts Education Department. He got his graduate degree in the same faculty. In 2011, he got his PHD degree at Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Design Department. After completion of his academic studies, he began to work as Assistant professor at Cukurova University, Faculty of Education, Fine Arts Education Department, in Adana/Turkey.
